ICR Publish: Clinical Trial Results Live is a series of free webinars to share trial results with a public audience.
They have been designed to try and reach those that took part in the trial, others affected by the disease, interested members of the public, organisations supporting people affected by cancer, NHS health care professionals and research staff.
TORPEdO trial, Thursday 25th June, 1-2pm (online)
TORPEdO is the first UK clinical trial in proton beam therapy. The trial determines whether the use of proton beam therapy reduces long-term side effects and improves quality of life for patients treated with radiotherapy for throat cancer.

FAST- Forward trial, Thursday 2nd July, 12-1pm (online)
The FAST-Forward clinical trial tested a shorter way of giving breast radiotherapy. Instead of having 15 sessions over three weeks, it looked at giving 5 sessions in just one week. In May 2021, this one-week treatment plan was added to official UK guidelines and is now being used in other countries too.
