Consultation has concluded
Keeping hydrated is a challenge during cancer treatment. Share your ideas and tips on good hydration.
Water makes up two thirds of our body.
Good hydration is important for health although drinking enough can be a challenge, particularly during cancer treatment.
We would like to collect ideas from people about how to keep well hydrated.
They may be ideas and tips about taste changes, flavours that tasted good, which temperatures worked well and tips about how to take more fluid throughout the day.
We are looking for ideas that worked well if you were in hospital or at home.
Please share your ideas on the board below as well as liking and commenting on ideas already posted
To vote for an idea you like
To post your own idea
Please also share your thoughts via our guestbook as well if you have any general comments on hydration and how you keep hydrated during treatment
The ideas submitted will be used in two ways.
Firstly, an information leaflet of the ideas submitted will be produced to help other people. This will be made available on The Royal Marsden website.
Secondly, ideas about improving hydration in hospital will be used to change our service on the wards and the medical day unit.
